Basic Training for Onboard Service

HANDS-ON PREPARATION FOR YOUR FIRST FLIGHT

The diverse responsbilities of a cabin crew are essential. Security and service on board are of the utmost importance, even under challenging conditions. Our Initial Service Training comprehensively provides prospective flight attendants with practical preparation for their first flight.

Experienced senior cabin crew members teach the theory and practice behind standard cabin procedures, with a focus on communication and excellence when taking care of guests. Basic Training for Onboard Service generally involves Initial Cabin Crew Safety Training. Specialized Service Conversion Training courses can be added as needed.

Objective

Future flight attendants learn standardized service procedures and how to operate crew equipment on board.

Procedure

The cabin crew learns theory first, then acts out each role of a flight’s comprehensive service procedures in the working areas of a cabin.

Target Group

Initial Service Training is geared toward prospective flight attendants.

Content

  • General aviation knowledge
  • Tasks and responsibilities of the cabin crew
  • Communicating with guests and within the crew
  • Passenger check-in
  • Working in the galley
  • Carrying out service procedures
  • Handling cabin equipment and devices such as ovens and coffee machines
  • Training as needed, specifically for short- and long-haul flights
  • Training as needed, specifically for economy, business, and/or first class

 

 

If need be, our Initial Service Training can also be adapted to your airline, your standard processes, and your aircraft models.
